Andrew Snyder joined Ascent Wealth Management, LLC in 2026 after a career as a semiconductor engineer and a chemistry teacher. A graduate of Penn State, Andrew pursued his longstanding interest in business and finance through completion of his MBA from Jack Welch Management Institute and to his transition to a new career. He brings his problem solving, teaching, and communication skills to his clients to help them engineer a strategy they understand and support.

Andrew and his wife Stacy share a longstanding interest in medicinal use of herbs and have studied at David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies. With the Northern NJ Chapter of the American Herbalists’ Guild, where he was a past president, he helps plan the annual Herb Day Celebration at Well-Sweep Herb Farm in Port Murray, NJ. Andrew and Stacy also share an interest in peony growth, hybridization, and genetics and are active in the American Peony Society (APS) and the Mid-Atlantic Peony Society (MAPS).

As a proponent of individual rights, self-reliance, and the US Constitution, Andrew has spoken at local events on topics ranging from the foundations of individual rights to the appropriate ways to communicate ideas and find common ground.

Andrew also supports LDS Charities (focusing on relief of suffering, promotion of self-reliance, and emergency response), the Mensa Foundation (to unleash intelligence for the benefit of humanity through research, education, and meaningful engagement), and United Plant Savers (to protect at-risk medicinal plants).
